Testimonials

See what our community has to say about Yusra!

After joining Yusra, my daughter has been learning Islamic studies and Tajweed so fast. My happiness, honestly, is beyond words. I was truly surprised at how much she learned in such a short time. I thought to myself, truly everything is best when taught by experienced teachers. May Allah grant you all the best of this world and the Hereafter. May you always remain under Allah’s protection. May Allah always make your work easy and reward you with endless blessings.

Shoira

Today, our community celebrated Eid and the opening ceremony of the Yusra Center — the first Uzbek diaspora-led faith organization serving the DMV area. I’m so grateful that this important niche is now filled, offering our diaspora and our children a sense of belonging rooted in our cultural and religious identity. Thank you for serving our people. @yusra_fund “So, surely with hardship comes ease. Fa-inna maʿa al-ʿusri yusra.”

Kamilla

Masha’Allah, I just realized how truly blessed our girls are. We must have done something good in our lives to be part of such an amazing Yusra community. I can’t thank you enough, Yusra Center. I can’t thank you enough for all that you do to teach our girls about being a good Muslim and the importance of Islamic history. Your tireless and selfless efforts are truly appreciated. May Allah bless you with more than you could ever ask for, and multiply your rewards many times over. May He always guide you and keep you on the straight path. I am truly grateful for you all.

Visola

Assalamu alaykum Yusra, my daughter came home from class so happy. She really, really loved the class. She kept saying everyone was so nice. She also shared with us that even the quiz answers had some funny options, and she read them out loud to us. She really enjoyed making muffins too — she said the yellow yolk mixed with the blue blueberry and turned our muffin green when the colors blended. May you be blessed and not grow tired. May Allah be pleased with you all. Gathering so many kids, caring for their hearts, and teaching them knowledge is not an easy task. May Allah multiply the reward for all your efforts a thousandfold

Nozima

Assalamu alaykum! Yusra Center, thank you so much. My son came back very happy and hasn’t stopped talking about our beloved Prophet (SAW). May Allah be pleased with all of you for the knowledge you are giving to the children and grant you happiness in both worlds
